Warrior Bride - Stand
"Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you."
The Story Behind the Image
This iconic digital painting depicts the Bride of Christ in a stunning white gown with silver sleeves, her hands firmly gripping an ornate golden sword—the Sword of the Spirit—positioned in a stance of authority and readiness. The sword is not decorative—it is drawn, positioned, and ready for battle. The intricate Star of David adorns the hilt, and the blade is engraved with Hebrew script, declaring the covenant authority she carries. Her posture is not passive—she is standing her ground, rooted in worship, armed for warfare, and fully prepared to engage the enemy.
This is one of my highest signature pieces, birthed in 2007 and carried throughout the nations as an early prophetic depiction of the Warrior Bride—the Bride of Christ who is not waiting passively for her Bridegroom, but is actively engaged in spiritual warfare, standing victorious in her identity, and wielding the Sword of the Spirit with authority.
The Birth of Warrior Bride Stand
On September 7, 2006, two friends joined me with a clear goal: to capture imagery of the Bride of Christ in combat boots, fully equipped for spiritual warfare. This was not a casual photoshoot—this was a prophetic assignment. As we worshipped together, the presence of God was strong, and Holy Spirit began to move.
In that moment, Holy Spirit led me to retrieve the Solomon sword from the sanctuary for my friend to hold. And in that instant, Warrior Bride Stand was born. All of the glory for this anointed image goes to Yeshua, our Bridegroom King.
This image has since traveled the nations, ministering to women (and men) who are awakening to their identity as the worshipping, warring Bride of Christ—ready for battle, rooted in worship, and standing victorious in the authority of the King.
The Warrior Bride
For too long, the Church has portrayed the Bride of Christ as passive, waiting, and weak. But Scripture paints a very different picture. The Bride of Christ is fierce, armed, and victorious. She is clothed in fine linen, bright and clean (Revelation 19:8), but she is also trained for war and positioned for victory.
Song of Solomon 6:4 declares, "You are as beautiful as Tirzah, my darling, as lovely as Jerusalem, *as majestic as troops with banners." The Bride is not just beautiful—she is *majestic as an army. She is not just loved—she is armed and dangerous to the kingdom of darkness.
Ephesians 6:10 (TPT) declares, "Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. *Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you."*
This is the Warrior Bride—supernaturally infused with strength, standing victorious, and wielding the explosive power of the King.
The Sword of the Spirit
The golden sword in her hands is not symbolic—it is the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17). The sword is drawn and ready, positioned for battle, and held with confidence and authority.
The Star of David on the hilt represents the covenant connection between the Bride and her Jewish roots, the authority of the Lion of Judah, and the unbreakable covenant between God and His people.
The Hebrew script engraved on the blade declares the authority of the Word of God—the living, active, and sharper-than-any-double-edged-sword Word that divides soul and spirit, judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).
The Bride does not carry this sword as decoration—she wields it with skill, authority, and precision. She knows the Word. She speaks the Word. And she fights with the Word.
The White Gown and Silver Sleeves
The white gown represents the righteousness of the saints (Revelation 19:8)—the purity, holiness, and beauty of the Bride who has been washed in the blood of the Lamb and clothed in His righteousness.
The silver sleeves represent redemption, refinement, and the armor of God. Silver in Scripture is associated with redemption (the price paid for freedom) and purity (refined through fire). The Bride is not just beautiful—she is redeemed, refined, and ready.
Her gown is not a hindrance to battle—it is a declaration of her identity. She is the Bride, and she is the Warrior. She is loved, and she is fierce. She is beautiful, and she is dangerous.
Stand Victorious
The title of this piece—Warrior Bride Stand—is a command, a declaration, and a prophetic call. Stand is not passive. Stand is active, intentional, and defiant in the face of the enemy.
1 Corinthians 16:13 declares, "Watch, *stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong."*
The Warrior Bride does not retreat. She does not cower. She does not compromise. She stands her ground, rooted in worship, armed with the Word, and filled with the explosive power of the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 6:13-14 commands, "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to *stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then..."*
This is the posture of the Warrior Bride—standing firm, standing victorious, and standing in the authority of the King.
Rooted in Worship, Armed for Warfare
The Warrior Bride is not just a fighter—she is a worshiper. Her warfare flows from her worship. Her strength comes from her intimacy with the Bridegroom. Her authority is rooted in her identity as the Beloved.
This image was birthed in worship. It was conceived in the presence of God, and it carries the anointing of that moment. The Warrior Bride does not fight in her own strength—she fights supernaturally infused with the strength of her life-union with the Lord Jesus.
A Prophetic Declaration
This image has traveled the nations since 2007, and it continues to awaken the Bride to her true identity. You are not weak. You are not passive. You are not waiting helplessly for rescue.
You are the Warrior Bride—loved, fierce, armed, and victorious. You are clothed in righteousness, wielding the Sword of the Spirit, and standing in the explosive power of the King.
Step into your identity. Draw your sword. Stand your ground. And fight from the place of victory.
