Spirit and the Bride Say Come - Longing

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come..." The deepest cry of the Bride's heart—longing for the return of her Beloved.

The Story Behind the Image

This prophetic artwork captures a bride in her wedding gown and veil, kneeling in a beam of heavenly light against a dark background. She is holding a bouquet close to her heart, her head bowed in a posture of reverent longing and holy anticipation. The black and white tones create a timeless, ethereal quality—as if she exists between two worlds, waiting at the threshold of eternity.

The inscription declares Revelation 22:17: "The Spirit and the bride say, 'Come...'" This is the final invitation in all of Scripture—a cry from the heart of the Bride and the Holy Spirit for the return of Jesus, the Bridegroom King.

The bride is dressed and ready. Her gown is pure white, symbolizing the righteousness of the saints. Her veil is in place, representing her consecration and her identity as one set apart for the King. The bouquet in her hands speaks of beauty, preparation, and the anticipation of the wedding day. But she is not standing at the altar yet—she is kneeling in the light, waiting, watching, and crying out, "Come, Lord Jesus!"

The beam of light breaking through the darkness represents the hope of His return. It is the light of His presence piercing through the night, reminding her that He is coming soon. The darkness around her symbolizes the world she lives in—a world that is passing away—but she is not consumed by it. She is focused on the light, fixed on the promise, and filled with longing for the One she loves.

This is the posture of the Bride in this hour: longing, waiting, and crying out for His return. She is not distracted by the things of this world. She is not settling for anything less than Him. Her heart's deepest desire is to see Him face to face.

"The Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let the one who hears say, 'Come!' Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life." — Revelation 22:17

"He who testifies to these things says, 'Yes, I am coming soon.' Amen. Come, Lord Jesus." — Revelation 22:20
