The Story Behind the Image

This prophetic artwork depicts the crowned Lion of Judah standing majestically beside the golden menorah against a deep blue starry sky, with the Star of David forming a foundation beneath. The Hebrew inscription declares "Baruch haba b'Shem Adonai" — Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord (Psalm 118:26).

This is a powerful messianic image, proclaiming the return of Yeshua (Jesus) to Jerusalem. The Lion of Judah represents the Messiah—the King who will return to establish His throne in Jerusalem and reign forever. His piercing blue eyes reflect both the tenderness of the Lamb and the fierce authority of the Lion. The golden crown upon His head signifies His rightful place as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The menorah—the seven-branched lampstand—represents the light of God's presence, the Holy Spirit, and the eternal covenant with Israel. It stood in the Temple and symbolizes God's faithfulness to His people and His promise to dwell among them. The flames burn brightly, declaring that the light of God will never be extinguished.

The Star of David beneath the Lion and menorah represents the nation of Israel, the Jewish people, and God's unbreakable covenant with them. It is a reminder that God has not forgotten His promises to Israel, and that Jerusalem will one day recognize and welcome her Messiah.

The inscription at the bottom, "Jerusalem Behold Your God," echoes Isaiah 40:9: "O Zion, herald of good news, lift up your voice with strength... say to the cities of Judah, 'Behold your God!'" This is a prophetic declaration that the day is coming when all of Jerusalem will cry out, "Baruch haba b'Shem Adonai!" — Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!
