Forever Betrothed

I will betroth you to Me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion. I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD.

The Story Behind the Image

Lovingkindness — His covenant love (hesed) never fails
Faithfulness — He keeps His promises forever

The bride is not betrothed because of her own worthiness—she is betrothed because of His righteousness, His love, and His faithfulness. This is the beauty of covenant love: it is not based on performance, but on His unchanging character.
