The Story Behind the Image

Edom is significant in biblical prophecy. Isaiah 63:1 asks, "Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah, with his garments stained crimson? Who is this, robed in splendor, striding forward in the greatness of his strength?" The answer: "It is I, proclaiming victory, mighty to save." Yeshua is coming from Edom—the place of judgment and victory—on His way to Jerusalem, the city of the Great King.

The two white horses represent strength, purity, and the dual nature of His coming—He is both the suffering servant who came the first time and the conquering King who is coming again. He is both the Lamb who was slain and the Lion of Judah who roars in victory.

The golden scepter in His hand represents His royal authority and His right to rule. He is not coming as a guest—He is coming as King. He is not asking for permission—He is taking His rightful place on the throne.

The inscription "Hatani ~ Hineh Hu Ba" (My Bridegroom ~ Behold He Comes) is the cry of the Bride who has been watching, waiting, and longing for His return. This is the midnight cry of Matthew 25:6: "At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'"
